Forward Festival 2025

Opening Titles

For the 2025 Forward Festival, the main titles explore the creative tension of the blank page—the moment when ideas hover between hesitation and action. Presented in Berlin and Vienna, the sequence celebrates the transformation from possibility to momentum, turning abstract concepts into dynamic visuals that reflect the festival’s theme: “Turn Ideas Into Action.”

The visual language balances minimalism with texture, using soft whites, warm creams, and metallic surfaces to create a charged, tactile environment. The sequence unfolds in two halves: a deliberate, slow-motion buildup that heightens anticipation, followed by a kinetic release where sparks ignite and ideas collide, bringing the energy of creation to life. Every element, from object interactions to material choices, was designed to embody this tension and transformation.

Collaboration with Echoic Audio was integral to the experience, shaping both rhythm and emotion from the earliest stages. On a personal note, it was an incredible honor to walk on stage and present this project to an audience of industry peers and like-minded creatives, sharing firsthand the journey from concept to realization. The sequence is a reflection on the process of making ideas real—a reminder of the power of commitment, experimentation, and action in creative work.
