The Gourmand's Egg

A Taschen publication

How do you like your eggs? A simple question people answer almost every day opens the teaser film introducing the publication of the book The Gourmand’s Egg. A Collection of Stories & Recipes.

The first book born from the collaboration between Taschen and The Gourmand, the quirky bi-annual “food and culture journal”.

Book titled 'The Gourmand's Egg' featuring a fried egg with a bright yolk on the white cover, set against an orange background.

The book is a journey through art, culture, and recipes - all centered around eggs as an ingredient.

For the teaser film directed by Dave Lane, Studio Private assembled a collective of CG artists, Art Directors, and designers to create an eclectic piece, showcasing the best images and stories included in the book.

This is a summary of the work that I did for the film. The full film is linked below.
